R.B. Minute Greenhouse was started in 1947 by Bob & Neva Minute. In the early years we were one of the larger producers of geraniums in the spring and cut flowers in the fall in the state of Ohio. As time evolved our business we started growing other types of plants. The greenhouses are full of plant material year round now. Today we grow over 300 types and varieties of plants totaling over 1,500,000 plants. Most of the plants are started in house. We have stock plants for our cutting plant material and we sow about 620,000 seed a year. We sell to garden centers, landscapers and florists, from Sandusky to Painesville to Canton mainly.

Garden Village Nursery was opened in the spring of 1978 to sell the plants we were growing at that time. Today it has grown into one of Northern Ohio's leading garden centers. However, close attention is still given to provide the finest of plants we can give our customers, as was the case in the early 1950's. That is how we believe we have survived all the changes in our industry over the past fifty some years.
